Every member starts as a Trainee. You progress through the ranks by producing work that holds up. No shortcuts, no seniority by time served. The quality of your output determines where you go.
Where every member begins. You build the fundamentals of investment banking from the ground up, covering financial statement analysis, deal mechanics, valuation frameworks, and how markets move. You learn the Vantedge standard of research and what it means to produce work that holds up to scrutiny. This is not orientation. This is where the real work starts.
You have published. Your work has gone through review and held up. At this level you take on real research across all five divisions, contributing to sector deep dives, live deal coverage, and cross-asset analysis. You are expected to produce independently, think critically, and write with conviction. This is where members begin to develop a genuine point of view on markets.
Apply Now →The final step before the professional world. At Associate level you go beyond analysis, developing financial models built to the standard you will be expected to produce on the job. You prepare pitchbooks, sensitivity analyses, and transaction models that reflect real workplace output. This tier is appointed, not applied for, and it marks you as someone ready to compete at the highest level.
